He is referring to the machine type, type model, year, (see here https://support.lenovo.com/us/en/find-product-name) as well as if it has the windows key sticker on the bottom of the machine. Don't post the actual serial of the laptop number or windows key, though.

The reason why people ask you to post the MTM (model type information) is that it can be used to determine how the system was configured when it left the factory. Looking up the model type will reveal what type of CPU is has, whether or not it shipped with a camera, how much memory was in the system, the size of the disk drive and even what version of Windows it was licensed for. That usually works in most cases however yours is a slightly different beast. A suffix of CTO means Configure To Order; a custom build which could have a fairly unique combination of options which the factory did not sell in volume.

Sometimes, below the CTO label is another MTM: 4323-2XU, for example. If it's there, post that. Another way to get the configuration is to do a Parts Lookup but that requires the serial number of the system. It's recommended that you do NOT post the system's serial number here in the forum. The usual reason is that it can lead to some shenanigans with Lenovo Support as somebody could falsely report that the system was stolen. It's up to you if you want to provide the serial number to prospective buyers via a Private Message (PM). In any event, good luck with your sale.
