IBM PC 300GL Bios stuck in French

I got a IBM PC 300GL 6563-44U and the Bios is in French. I cannot read if their is a language switch or not in the Bios.

The DOS pages are in English but the Bios is in French.

Never seen that model, but when you are in the BIOS, check for the word Langue (=Language) which would probably be followed by Français (= French)

^ That's looks more like German than French.

(Fixed Problem)

I found the bios disk for this machine along with 2 PC300PL / PC300GL CDs and updated the bios and selected 1 - United States and selected N "No" on all other options of updating your S/N and Type numbers. I rebooted the PC and now the splash screen and bios are all in English. So if you need to select a language for the bios on old PCs you'll have to flash it.



If anyone needs the drivers for the IBM Personal Computer 300PL/300GL let me know as I got all the CDs and disk drivers.

IBM and Lenovo took off all old ThinkPad and desktop drivers from their site, and is now very hard to find online.
I know ThinkPads.com here has the ThinkPads drivers but don't know for the IBM desktops such as the Aptiva Series, Personal Computer Series and NetVista Series. So far all the IBM PCs I own, I have a complete external HDD with all drivers and OEM logos information on the drive and saving to it as I find more drivers. They will be getting harder to find I guess through time.

Hi ThinkPad560X, if your offer of the driver disks and CDs is still good then I would really love to be able to download them as I just bought a couple of old IBM Personal Computer 300GLs that I plan on fixing up.
