It's surely thinkpads.com. The subreddit is a nice place if not immature. forum.thinkpads.com is for serious users who actually think about what they say, and go above and beyond to support the community. I appreciate this forum for all it has done for me and for all the opportunities it presents for me to interact with other Thinkpad users in a professional manner.

The only forum where you don't have to deal with every single post straying on 10 tangents in the same post. This is what the post is about and this is where the information you need is. There is a reason I only have a few dozen posts on other forums but 1300 on this one(doesn't help that I know more about Thinkpads than go karts but that is beside the point).

Truth. I was called a liar yesterday for saying the T500 has poor battery life, among other ad hominems. Immature accurately describes those who can dish out but can't take backtalk. Not to forget the persistent downvoting problem.

Oh yes... I'm very reluctant to create a user and participate over there due to the a general lack of "civilized" behavior in most of the subreddits I've come across...

Although the site has sometimes interesting posts about TP mods and TP tinkering in general.

You don't (and shouldn't) use the same username as here.
But if you post there, giving a reference to our forum does not hurt and "those who know" might shrug them off, become "riddits" instead and possibly join here for a more human and useful approach...

Yes the subreddit has plenty of Lenovo fanboys and a few Lenovo insiders.

This is the age group that Lenovo market to now.

If that is where Thinkpads are heading then I won't be following.

I don't give lip service. This forum is the encyclopedia of anything thinkpad. Just do a google search for any thinkpad problem or issue and you will be directed to forum.thinkpads.com
