SDD V14X with which Thinkpad?

I need to use SDD diagnostic software V14X, and would like to know which is the best thinkpad to use? Light and portability is priority and I have a X200 tablet unless there is another model that members have used and tested on the field.

Even today lots of car diag software (such as Merc and Beemer) can still be run on a T23 or T30, because they use(d) a Serial port.
With newer software, AFAIK any laptop with decent USB can be used.
So your X200T would be fine, as long as you keep the battery charged and oily fingers away from it.
