Remove 01C9

#1 Post by SEGA_Genesis » Sun Mar 03, 2019 3:03 pm

After digging through old forums for a (still working) link to the No-1802 tool, I finally got rid of No-1802! About a week later, I got my ActionTec BMDC200 bluetooth daughter board. I put it in, boot up my ThinkPad, and..... yeah

WARNING:
01C9: More than one Ehternet Devices are found. Remove one of them.
Press <Esc> to continue.

I had seen something about a No-01C9 tool when I was hunting down the No-1802 tool, so I went back to that site (and a whole lot more) to no prevail. I also saw something about a Linux LiveCD fix but couldn't find that either. I'm willing to do it manually if anyone knows a guide to it.

Many thanks!

You installed an ActionTec modem and bluetooth combo card in your T30, and it apparently gave you an 01C9 error? That seems strange, since Atheros' wireless adapter cards are generally the main problem that causes the 01C9 error to pop up.

If the Linux LiveCD patch/fix is what you are truly looking for, here it is.

Is this the same thing as the No-1802 LiveCD?
And thanks man I'll be sure to try it.
