T420 fingerprint scanner.

Hello everyone.
I have a question: I have a T420 without a fingerprint scanner. I burst a palmrest, found a palmrest with a scanner on sale. If I put it on, will it work? And if there is such a possibility, then what will I need to do? Thank.

Get the T420 manual from the HMM link above.
It shows you exactly how to install.
Then get/install the driver from Lenovo.
Lovely day for a Guinness! (The Real Black Stuff)
But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!
