X280 Keyboard and Trackpoint issue

Hello, I have searched the board and have not found anything on this issue (probably missed it).

Quite random but very frustrating, when I turn on this laptop the keyboard and trackpoint won't respond, the touchpad works though.
Usually have to reboot at least once to get them back. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers but no luck.
Windows 11 Pro 24H2.
I have two of these laptops same model pretty much the same OS and software on both and they both have this issue.

Any help or direction appreciated.

Try cleaning/reinserting the two flat cables from keyboard to motherboard.

But I actually prefer Murphy's from Cork!
