Shutdown HDD before moving Thinkpad?

For those still rocking HDD, do you do shutdown before moving your Thinkpad?

Or is the HDD protected from vibration in Sleep (Windows) mode?

Sleep mode shuts down the hard drive. Just give it a few seconds to spin down and park.
